Two suspects sought in Garden Grove pharmacy burglary
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - Two people tried to burglarize a pharmacy in Garden Grove today, police said.
Officers were patrolling near Euclid Street and Westminster Avenue about 1:45 a.m. when they saw two males breaking into the front door of the business at 10963 Westminster Ave., said Garden Grove police Sgt. K. Ferrin.
"The suspects saw the patrol car and ran in a northwest direction from the business,'' Ferrin said. "Officers quickly established a perimeter and conducted a search but were unable to locate the suspects.''
The suspects were described as males who were wearing dark hoodies.
"Officers checked the business and determined that the front door of the business, a pharmacy, had been smashed (but) the interior metal security gates did not allow access into the interior,'' Ferrin said. "There was no loss from the business.''
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the Garden Grove Police Department at (714) 741-5800.
