Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena has more mouths to feed this Thanksgiving with the increasing homeless population, but a major donor backed out of providing the ingredients needed to make hot meals.

Aa a result, Trader Joe's stepped in to donate more than 200 turkeys to make sure the annual Dinner in the Park event for the center can go on -- but the center still needs help.

Union Station still needs stuffing, pies and ingredients for side dishes even though preparations starts Friday. They're racing against the clock to feed more than 2,200 people.

To save thanksgiving for the homeless, go to unionstationhs.org for a wish list of items and donate.
