USC football team beats UCLA, 52-35
LOS ANGELES - The USC Trojans won their annual football game against the UCLA Bruins Saturday, 52-35, led by a career-high passing performance
from freshman quarterback Keedon Slovis.
The Trojans finished the regular season with an 8-4 record. USC will play in some sort of postseason bowl game, but it's not yet clear where that will be. USC can win the Pac-12 South title should Utah lose one of its final two games.
The Bruins fell to 4-7 and conclude their season with a home game against Cal at the Rose Bowl next Saturday.
Slovis completed 37 of 47 passes for 515 yards and four touchdowns, with zero interceptions. The Trojans had four players with more than 100 yards receiving: Drake London (142 yards), Amon-Ra St. Brown (128 yards), Tyler Vaughns (106 yards) and Michael Pittman Jr. (104 yards).
Since the teams started playing in 1929, USC holds a 48-32-7 edge in the series.
Before the game, fans were treated to a flyover by Navy F-18 jets, and two-time USC All-American Troy Polamalu was honored on the field for his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame
