Victorville gym reopens despite state’s orders

A San Bernardino county gym has defied the state's orders and has reopened. Rick Lozano is in Victorville where the owner of the gym is calling his business essential.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - A SoCal gym owner thinks it's a mistake for Governor Gavin Newsom to close all gyms. He says gyms are an 'essential business.'

Jacob Lewis runs The Gym in San Bernardino County and says he's decided to defy state shutdown orders because he believes gyms are 'essential' to people's mental and physical health.

He reopened his business Friday morning.
