COMPTON, Calif. - "I was kicked, my head was banged on the floor, non-stop, repeatedly “ says 24-year-old Dalvin Price.
The Compton resident was stopped by LA County Sheriff on May 31st.
Cell phone video shot by a witness shows Price on the ground, being pinned by deputies. One holds his head down and punches him, another one kneeing him five times.

Sheriff Alex Villanueva says a use of force investigation was started immediately after the arrest, adding that Price was allegedly in one of three vehicles seen leaving a CVS that had been looted, where a deputy had been injured by one of those vehicles.
“Frankly, I don’t care where Price was coming from or going to” said Compton Mayor Aja Brown who says the video shows the latest in an ongoing series of complaints about officers in their city.
The Compton City Attorney is demanding the officers involved be removed from the station, and be charged criminally. Council members plan to approve its first commission to follow up on citizen complaints against deputies.
Price has not been charged with any crime, but Villanueva says investigators are preparing a case for the DA.
Regardless, questions remain about what happened, once he was on the ground.
