ROWLAND HEIGHTS, Calif. - Authorities on Monday were searching for a hit-and-run driver who crashed into a Rowland Heights home before fleeing the scene with his passenger.
The crash happened around 4:40 a.m. Saturday on Blankeman Avenue, south of Pen Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Toyota Camry was traveling north on Blankeman at the time of the crash. A family was inside the home when it was struck but none of them were injured.
After the crash, two men jumped out of the car and took off running.
Authorities are still working to determine whether alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the crash.
