LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - Relatives of a woman who was shot by LAPD officers have released video of the shooting. They are calling for changes in the way police handle mentally ill people. Lauren Sivan has the story.

Relatives of Norma Guzman, who was fatally shot by police on Sept. 27 in downtown Los Angeles held a news conference to call for charges against the officers involved and for changes in the way LAPD officers deal with people with mental illness.
Since the incident that was recorded on camera, both of the officers have been taken off the streets while the LAPD'S internal investigation continues.
Guzman's family filed a federal lawsuit last fall alleging the officers used excessive force.
