Woman killed in South Pasadena crash on 110 Freeway
SOUTH PASADENA, Calif. - A woman was killed after a single-vehicle collision in South Pasadena Thursday morning.
The deadly crash happened on the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway at the Fair Oaks Avenue off-ramp around 4 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
According to the CHP, the woman was driving a 2000 Infiniti I30 at an unknown speed when the car "left the roadway over an elevated concrete curb and collided into a tree."
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the 33-year-old victim was a resident of Panorama City. Her name was not released.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
