Woman shot to death in Granada Hills alley
GRANADA HILLS, Calif. (FOX 11) - A woman was found shot to death inside of a car in an alley in Granada Hills and the shooter remained at-large Tuesday morning.
The shooting victim has been identified as 24-year-old Cheyenne Brown.
Police responded about 10:25 p.m. Monday to an assault-with-a-deadly- weapon call near the intersection of Chatsworth Street and Hayvenhurst Avenue.
The victim's grandfather performed CPR on her until paramedics and police arrived. However, she was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Reports from the scene said the woman's body was found in a vehicle in an alley near the intersection. A motive for the shooting has not been disclosed.
Brown's family say that she worked as a security guard and can't imagine who would want to kill her.
A detailed description of the shooter was not immediately available.
