Mother stabbed to death by daughter in El Monte, police say
EL MONTE, Calif. - A homicide investigation is underway in El Monte after a woman allegedly stabbed her mother to death inside a home.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, 44-year-old Jacqueline Perez was found dead Sunday around 5 p.m.
Police officers had responded to the 11000 block of Ranchito Street after someone reported a stabbing and deadly assault.
At the scene, authorities discovered Perez inside the home, where she was pronounced dead.

Authorities arrested Perez's daughter, 25-year-old Kimberly Gonzalez, outside the home.
Right now police say they aren't searching for any additional suspects involved.
Authorities said a possible murder weapon was also recovered at the scene.
