Woman stabs man she met on dating site while two were at Glendale hotel
GLENDALE, Calif. - A woman allegedly stabbed her date in the neck at the Extended Stay America hotel in Glendale Thursday night.
The two people were at the hotel in the 1300 block of Glenoaks Boulevard, near Sonora Avenue, after meeting on a dating app, according to Sgt. Dan Suttles of the Glendale Police Department.
An altercation happened soon after the two met, and the woman allegedly stabbed the man in the neck at 7:24 p.m. inside the hotel, according to Suttles and Sgt. Ralph Garcia of the Glendale Police Department.
The woman fled in her car, and the man attempted to chase her in his car, Suttles said. He realized after a block that he needed medical attention, and pulled over and asked someone nearby to call 9-1-1, according to Suttles.
The victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Garcia said.
Authorities are searching for the woman, according to Garcia.
