Zendaya and Tom Holland engaged: reports

LOS ANGELES - Zendaya and Tom Holland are reportedly going to say "I do."

This comes after the "Euphoria" and "Challengers"actress sparked engagement rumors Sunday when she wore a massive diamond ring on her ring finger ring during the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills.

TMZ first reported the news that the 28-year-old Emmy Award winner was engaged to Holland following a low-key and private proposal that happened "between the Christmas and New Year's holidays." 

The couple met and reportedly fell in love while playing love interests Peter Parker and MJ in 2017’s "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Holland wasn’t at Sunday’s Globes.

Several fan accounts also noticed the ring and were quick to go to social media with their speculations.

One such account was the official Instagram page of Max, home to the "Euphoria" series for which she won Emmy Awards in 2020 and 2022.

 "I have never, ever been happier," the caption read with a post showing off the ring with a clip from the show.

Another clue was that Bulgari — for which the "Dune" star is an ambassador — provided Zendaya’s carpet jewelry — a necklace, right-hand ring and earrings — but a press release didn’t mention the ring on her left ring finger.

A reporter for the Los Angeles Times seemed to confirm something was up when she held up her engagement ring and pointed to it, and Zendaya responded by showing her own left-hand bling. The reporter then asked if the actor was engaged and "she kept showing her ring, smiled coyly and shrugged her shoulders mysteriously."

People reported Holland said "he always knew she was the one," noting they "have something very special" but aren't in a rush to plan a ceremony.

"They will just enjoy things for now and won’t rush a wedding. They are both busy with work projects," a source told People.

Zendaya and Holland have both been cast in Christopher Nolan's upcoming "The Odyssey," which is expected to be released in 2026. Other co-stars include Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, and Charlize Theron.
