Nic Garcia is an Emmy award-winning journalist who joined the FOX11 news team in July 2025.
Nic grew up in Riverside and is happy to be back in the Southland. He previously worked as an anchor and reporter in Fresno. Prior to that, Nic worked in El Paso, Texas and Western Montana. He has covered crime, mass shootings, wildfires, elections and presidential visits.
Nic is a proud graduate of California State University, Fullerton where he studied Broadcast Journalism and minored in Political Science. He is also an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ).
When he's not bringing you the news, you can find Nic cooking - or eating! He also enjoys trying new coffee shops, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
