Bryce James commits: Here's where LeBron James' youngest son will play college basketball

College basketball will welcome another big name next season!

On New Year’s Day, LeBron James announced his 17-year-old son, Bryce James, has committed to the University of Arizona. 

"Bear down!" the league's all-time leading scorer wrote in an Instagram caption. "Congratulations, Maximum! So proud of you"

The rising student-athlete shared the same picture on Instagram, writing "100% committed."

Bryce James began his high school career at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California before he transferred to Campbell Hall in May, and then transferred back to Sierra Canyon. The 6-foot-4-inch guard weighs 190 pounds, and is still growing.

Some notable Arizona Wildcats who went on to play in the NBA include Steve Kerr, Aaron Gordon, Deandre Ayton, Jason Terry and Lauri Markkanen.

It's another milestone for the James family after Bronny James, LeBron's firstborn, spent a season at the University of Southern California before he was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft.
