Former LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling, wife Shelly call off divorce
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - Former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling and his wife, Shelly, have called off their divorce, court records show.
Attorneys for Shelly Sterling filed court papers on March 4 asking that her divorce petition be dismissed.
Shelly Sterling's attorney, Pierce O'Donnell, issued a statement to BuzzFeed News confirming that the divorce was off, saying "Donald and Shelly have decided not to proceed with the divorce action brought by Donald.''
The billionaire filed for divorce last Aug. 5, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakup.
The couple were married for 59 years before separating in August 2012.
