When is Super Bowl 2025?

This year's Super Bowl will be held on Sunday, Feb. 9.

What time will the Super Bowl start this year?

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EST; expect programming to kick off 30 minutes to an hour before that.

Where is the Super Bowl this year?

The eyes (and cameras) of the country will turn toward Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA. There's no chance of a home team advantage, as the Saints failed to make the postseason.

How many times has the Super Bowl been played in New Orleans?

This year marks the eighth time that the Big Easy has hosted the Big Game. In 2013, the last time the game was played at the Superdome, a third quarter power outage disrupted the contest between brothers John Harbaugh (of the Baltimore Ravens) and Jim Harbaugh (of the San Francisco 49ers). The Ravens ultimately triumphed, though arguably the real winner of the game was Beyoncé, whose halftime show appears at or near the top of many a "best Super Bowl halftime shows" list.

How to watch Super Bowl 2025

This year’s big game is airing on FOX, with kickoff kicking off at 6:30 p.m. CST. And for the first time, the Super Bowl will also stream (for free!) on Tubi, including the pre-game festivities, halftime show, and an exclusive red carpet event.

The Super Bowl will also be streaming in the FOX Sports app.

Who is playing in the Super Bowl?

The Division Championships have been decided, so at long last we know who’ll be facing off on February 9. Some viewers may have deja vu: Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, on the hunt for their third Super Bowl win in as many years, will battle Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of the 2023 Super Bowl.

That game, played in Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, saw the Chiefs seize the first of two consecutive wins, besting the Eagles, 38-35.

Who is doing the Super Bowl halftime show?

That would be rap titan Kendrick Lamar. He’ll be joined by Grammy-winning artist SZA, and it’s possible we’ll see a few other surprises.

Who is singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl?

Grammy-winner Jon Batiste will succeed country legend Reba McEntire, who performed last year.

Who else is performing at the Super Bowl?

Aside from Kendrick, SZA and Batiste, the broadcast will feature performances from Louisiana natives Lauren Daigle and Trombone Shorty (who'll perform "America the Beautiful") and New Orleans R&B star Ledisi (performing "Lift Every Voice and Sing"). Both performances will happen before kick-off.

How many Super Bowl wins per team?

The Kansas City Chiefs have won four Super Bowls and lost twice – and two of those wins were in the last two years. The Philadelphia Eagles have won once and lost three times.

What teams have never won a Super Bowl?

There are 12 teams that have never won a Super Bowl:

  • Minnesota Vikings
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Carolina Panthers
  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Tennessee Titans
  • Arizona Cardinals
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Detroit Lions
  • Houston Texans
  • Jacksonville Jaguars

Of those teams, there are four that have never made a Super Bowl appearance: the Browns, the Texans, the Jaguars and the Lions. This looked like a good year for the Lions, but the team made an unexpectedly early exit from the post-season after looking like Super Bowl front-runners all season long.

What is the lowest-scoring Super Bowl?

In 2019's Super Bowl LIII, the New England Patriots bested the Los Angeles Rams, 13-3.

What is the highest-scoring Super Bowl?

Super Bowl XXIX in 1995 saw the San Francisco 49ers defeat the San Diego Chargers, 49-26.

How many teams have been in Super Bowl rematches?

Nine different teams have gone head to head in the Super Bowl more than once, including this year’s forthcoming rematch between the Chiefs and the Eagles.

Will Taylor Swift be there?

Probably?

What is the Super Bowl loser's curse?

The Super Bowl loser’s curse (sometimes called the Super Bowl hangover, the Super Bowl jinx or the curse of the Super Bowl slump) is related to the idea that teams who lose the Super Bowl are unlikely to make it back to the big game the following year. Curse or coincidence, it holds true this year: the San Francisco 49ers won’t be headed to New Orleans.

How much are Super Bowl tickets?

Good luck getting a ticket. As of this writing, resellers on StubHub are selling seats for anywhere from $3,367 to $403,156– and that's for a single ticket. But luckily for (almost) all of us, the Oscars of football are still on TV (and streaming).
