 Federal agents raided a home and made an arrest in the Westmont area near South Los Angeles Wednesday as part of an investigation into fraud tied to the alleged misuse of funds for the homeless.

A 36-year-old woman faces murder charges in a bus crash that left two people dead and six others injured. 

An NBCLA news helicopter crashed in Chatsworth Tuesday evening, killing a pilot, an aerial reporter, and a pedestrian on the ground near the site of a separate fatal Metro bus collision.

Officials identified the suspect of a deadly bus crash in Chatsworth as 36-year-old Bailee Rios. Two people were killed and six others were injured. 

Two people were killed and six others taken to the hospital, including the driver of the SUV believed to have caused the crash.

In a statement, Gov. Gavin Newsom said in part, "Our hearts are with the victims and families of the devastating Metro bus and helicopter crashes in Chatsworth, and with the entire NBC4 family."

Three people were killed after an NBCLA news helicopter crashed and caught fire in Chatsworth on Tuesday. The victims on board were identified as pilot George Marciniw and reporter Eliana Moreno, who provided aerial coverage for NBC4 and Telemundo 52. A pedestrian on the ground was also killed in the incident. The crash occurred near Mason Avenue and Nordhoff Street, just a block away from where crews were already responding to a separate deadly Metro bus collision earlier that evening. Fellow news reporters, including SkyFOX’s Stu Mundel, shared emotional reactions on air as news of the tragedy broke. The NTSB and FAA are currently investigating the cause of the crash.

A news helicopter crashed in Chatsworth. One of the three people killed was identified as a pedestrian, but it is unknown what ended up happening to the people inside the news chopper or where the two victims were when the crash happened. It is also unknown which news station was linked to the helicopter.
