California Wildfires: Shifting focus to recovery

The focus has now shifted to recovery after the red flag warnings expired for most of Los Angeles County. This comes as the Eaton and Palisades fires killed residents and destroyed thousands of buildings across the area.

Wildfires concerns have reemerged as Santa Ana winds are moving into Southern California. The news comes a week after the Palisades and the Eaton fires killed more than 20 people and devastated all of Los Angeles County.

Palisades Fire force new evacuations, road closures

Despite winds dying down temporarily, the Palisades Fire has begun spreading east, forcing new sets of evacuations to residents close to Encino, Bel-Air, Brentwood and Westwood. Meanwhile, young community leaders and content creators teamed up to put together a massive donation collection event at the Santa Anita Park.
