Carvel owner whose shop was looted on New Year's weekend says thank you

Burglars hit the Carvel ice cream shop on Santa Monica Boulevard on New Year's Day, breaking several glass windows and stealing the cash register. That's when a Good Samaritan stepped in to help save the day.
