Strong winds in have forced some schools to close early

The high winds are playing a role in several fires fanning the flames in Riverside and San Bernardino counties right now. Meanwhile, SoCal Edison has cut off power to more than 12-thousand customers. And some schools either closed today like Cal State San Bernardino or had abbreviated class schedules like several schools in Santa Clarita.
