Carla Renata talks revising movie history

“Gone With the Wind” is gone from HBO Max. The 1939 film is considered an American classic, but it’s a story of the Old South struggling to survive in The Civil War. HBO Max says when it returns in the future, it will include a discussion of its historical context and criticism of how it portrayed black people.
