Local teenager with inoperable brain tumor uses own experience to write a children's book about strategies for coping with getting an MRI
Seven-years ago, 10-year old Jackson grant was diagnosed with an inoperable but benign brain tumor. Since then he's undergone 32 MRIs. Knowing how scary it can be, Jackson, with the help of his auntie wrote a book for other kids to help demystify the process of getting an MRI, with personal stories and tips on how to make it all a little less scary.
