At age 46 Vanessa O'Brien climbed Mount Everest . She went on to set a world record by climbing the highest peaks on every continent in less than a year. She was also the first woman to complete the Four Poles Challenge, which is the highest mountain, the deepest ocean and the North and South Poles.
