4.0 earthquake strikes in Central California near West Bishop

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 shook Central California near the town of West Bishop on Thursday morning

The quake was detected at 11:14 a.m. about four miles northwest of West Bishop, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

No aftershocks have been felt, and no immediate damage was reported.
