2 arrested, car impounded after man hangs out car window on 15 Freeway
VICTORVILLE, Calif. - Two men were arrested and a car was impounded after a man was seen dangling from a moving vehicle over the weekend, according to California Highway Patrol.
CHP received several calls from concerned drivers who witnessed a man dangling from a sedan traveling at freeway speeds Saturday night around 7:30 p.m.
Cesar Toby Gabaldon. a passenger in a nearby car, captured the incident on his phone after he saw the unusual behavior near the Highway 395 off-ramp in Hesperia.
A CHP patrol officer parked on the shoulder of the freeway witnessed the man hanging from the window and stopped the vehicle near the La Mesa/Nisqualli exit on the 15 Freeway in Victorville.
The CHP officer determined the driver had a suspended license when conducting the traffic stop, officials said.
The names of the two suspects and their charges were not immediately known.
