Body found near middle school in unincorporated Ventura County community of El Rio

EL RIO, Calif. - Ventura County Sheriff's investigators are looking into the death of a person whose body was found Wednesday morning in the unincorporated community of El Rio near Oxnard in Ventura County.
The body was discovered in an agricultural property shortly after 11 a.m. in the area of N. Rose Avenue and Corsicana Drive near Rio Del Valle Junior High School, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.
The Sheriff's Department said the body is that of a male and there is no known connection to the school at this time.
It's unknown if foul play is suspected.
