California to provide free community college to first-time students
MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (FOX 11) - Some financial relief is coming to local college students.
Governor Gavin Newsom visited East Los Angeles College Thursday to highlight his budget proposal, which was approved this summer.
The program will provide two years of community college for free to any first-time, full-time California students. The California community college system is the largest in the nation.
