Chefmaker: Orange County making big impact for aspiring chefs
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - Aspiring chefs in Orange County are getting free hands-on experience with restauranteurs, thanks to a program being offered by the Latino Restaurant Association.
The initiative called Chefmaker: Orange County gives food entrepreneurs an opportunity to feature their appetizer, main course or dessert as part of the restaurant's dinner menu.

Eight aspiring chefs have been matched with four participating restaurants. Each restaurant then takes a turn featuring the original dishes each Saturday evening through Nov. 20.
The program is always looking for more restaurants to participate.
