Confessed serial killer draws sketch of alleged LA area victim
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - The FBI released several sketches they say were drawn by a serial killer in hopes of identifying the victims including one from the Los Angeles area.
In 2018, while already serving three life sentences for murder, 78-year-old Samuel Little confessed to killing 90 people in states from California to Florida between 1970 and 2005.
Investigators say Little targeted "marginalized" women including prostitutes and addicts. Some of their bodies went unidentified and deaths not investigated.
Now, authorities are hoping Little's drawings can help them identify the victims so that their families can be notified.
On Wednesday, investigators were working to match a sketch of a woman Little says he killed in Los Angeles in 1996 to an actual case.
