Hikers find human skull in Griffith Park

LOS ANGELES (CNS / FOX 11) - A human skull, thought to be several years old, was found by hikers on a trail Saturday in Griffith Park.

The coroner's office was summoned a little after 3 p.m. after the grisly find was made on the Brush Canyon Trail near Bronson Canyon, authorities said.

No other details were immediately available.
