CA Amber Alert: Teen girl disappears for hours before being found
INGLEWOOD, Calif. - An Amber Alert has been called off for a 14-year-old girl who was previously abducted in Inglewood on New Year’s Day.
Prior to the California Highway Patrol announcing on Wednesday evening that Naveah Holden had been found, the teen was reported missing for about five hours.
At the time of her brief disappearance, 59-year-old Edward Mason was named the kidnapping suspect. He was described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, 220 pounds, with black/gray hair and brown eyes. It’s unknown what he was wearing at the time of the abduction.
Officials did not specify how Holden was found. CHP did not give an update on if the cops also found Mason during the hours-long search on Wednesday.
