Irvine teen dances her way onto Justin Bieber's concert stage

Maya Alvarez-Coyne, 13, still can't believe she went from being a Justin Bieber mega-fan to performing with him on stage at his Orlando concert.

She excitedly recalls jumping up and down when she first heard the news to the actual experience of dancing next to her idol -- and Bieber introducing her to the crowd who erupted in applause.

The Irvine teen, who has been dancing since she was 3, posted an audition video on YouTube with the choreography to Bieber's song "Children" and to make sure she stood out, she added some Irish dancing to the hip hop routine.

It worked! Maya was one of four kids selected to dance with Bieber on June 30.

The same week in Orlando, the talented teen also competed in North American Irish Dance Championship where she placed fifth.

Maya is one of the top ranking Irish dancers in the country. And that's not all.

The talented young girl sings and she'd like to act or be on Broadway when she grows up. She's a born entertainer.

Maya says her purpose in life is to inspire and make people smile.
