Lane closures along the Pacific Coast Highway starting Monday to clear debris from Woolsey Fire

The California Department of Transportation announced lane closers starting Monday along the Pacific Coast Highway in an effort to complete restoration work and remove leftover debris from the Woolsey Fire that occurred last November.

Work will be done along the PCH from Monday, June 17 to Friday, June 21 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The specific closures will be the right lane of northbound PCH from Corral Canyon Rd. to Latigo Canyon Rd., as well as the right lane of southbound PCH from Winding Way to Escondido Beach Rd.

Crews will be working to make repairs and remove debris from the Woolsey Fire that burned over 97,000 acres from November 8 through November 21

One lane will remain open at all times but motorists should expect delays. Travelers were also encouraged to check traffic conditions by looking at Caltrans Quickmap.
