LA's Most Wanted: Murder of Teron 'TK' Reed

San Bernardino police believe Teron "TK" Reed was murdered because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Reed led an exemplary life growing up in the West San Fernando Valley. The 33-year-old was well known for his work with young athletes.

But he grew tired of the gangs he had avoided all his life, so he moved his family to San Bernardino. He continued his work with aspiring athletes and was developing a business to help young people who wanted a career in sports.

Teron's family and homicide investigators agree that he normally didn't go to clubs like Stingers on Club Center Drive, but a friend had invited him so Teron stopped by.

That night there was a conflict between members of rival motorcycle clubs. Separately, members of rival street gangs had been involved in a dispute. At closing time around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, shots were fired outside Stingers as customers were leaving.

Teron Reed was in his car, driving through the parking lot, when he was hit in the head by a bullet. He died hours later.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Detective Dennis Houser directly at (909) 384-5626 or (909) 384-5742. Anonymous calls are welcome at either number, as well as at Crime Stoppers, 1-800-222-TIPS.
