Man found fatally wounded in the backyard of a home in Inglewood identified
INGLEWOOD, Calif. - A man who was found fatally wounded in the backyard of a home in Inglewood morning was identified on Tuesday, police said.
Around 1:53 a.m. Friday, Inglewood Police officers were dispatched to reports of a shooting victim near Manchester Boulevard and Ash Avenue.
Responding officers checked the area and discovered the adult male victim lying on the ground in the backyard of a home in the 100 Block of S. Ash Avenue, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Paramedics with the LA County Fire Department transported the man to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. He was later identified as 23-year-old Adrian Johnson.
Investigators are still working to determine a motive for the shooting.
No suspect description was available.
