Police: Man accused of assaulting 3 disabled women, could be more victims

An Orange County ride share driver is facing shocking allegations. Police say he sexually assaulted three developmentally disabled women.

Police say Rusty Lee Love met the women through an acquaintance and gave them unlicensed massage services this past year.

"This happened in their Costa Mesa homes - the only relationship here between the suspect and these women is that they are acquaintances," said Roxi Fyad, Costa Mesa PD's public affairs manager.

Police say they arrested Love at his Huntington Beach home Friday.

They learned he was also a ride share driver.

"There's a concern that since he sexually assaulted vulnerable victims that if he had access to other vulnerable victims he might have sexually assaulted them," said Fyad.

Uber says it's unclear if any allegations are connected to them, but their law enforcement team is prepared to assist.

And they said in a statement,

"As soon as we were made aware of these disturbing allegations, we removed this driver's access to the app," according to an Uber statement.

While Love won't be driving for Uber, police have this warning for everyone out there:

Love is out on $50,000 bail.
