US Open champ Sloane Stephens on helping younger generation get active and more

U.S. Open champion Sloane Stephens joined us on Good Day LA Thursday morning ahead of an event she's hosting for more than 400 local elementary and middle school children at Centennial High School in Compton.

Called Net Generation Day, the event aims to inspire the next generation of tennis players as well as help empower children to dream big and achieve on and off the court.

The Sloane Stephens Foundation works to provide young people educational opportunities and encourages healthy lifestyles, proper nutrition and physical fitness.
