Wednesday's Child: Jonathan dances his way into the hearts of a forever family

(FOX 11) - Back in 2012, "Dancing with the Stars" was a thing and Jonathan, 14 years old at the time was on Wednesday's Child, searching for a forever family.

With his most prized possession in hand (a little boom box of music), Jonathan danced and stepped into our hearts. While a long journey, eventually, he two-stepped into the hearts of his adoptive family.

Thanks to AB 12, a relatively new law that permits public child welfare agencies to support foster youth until their 21st birthday, Jonathan's adoption was finalized just months before he turned 21.
