The crash occurred about 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Alters Ice Cream shop in the Diamond Jamboree shopping mall in the 2700 block of Alton Parkway, Irvine police Sgt. B. Miller said.
The female driver who was in her 20s was taken by paramedics to Orange Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, according to Miller. Her condition was unknown.
The two teenage customers in the store suffered minor injuries and were taken to a children's hospital in Orange, according to Miller.
The investigation into the crash was continuing, Miller said. It's not known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the woman losing control of her car.
