Ancient history and Italian travel with archaeologist Darius Arya
Heard on Olympic & Bundy - Darius Arya is an archaeologist, professor and host in several documentaries for Discover, History and National Geographic channels.
Most recently -- he explored three of the most fascinating cities of the ancient world, Athens, Cairo and Istanbul, for PBS's Ancient Invisible Cities.
Since 2002, Darius has been th executive director of the nonprofit American Institute for Roman Culture, leading field school excavations and study programs.
He's also currently a guest scholar at the Getty Conservation Institute at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, doing research on the role of new media for heritage preservation and promotion.
