Former football head coach Steve Sarkisian sues USC
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - Former USC football coach Steve Sarkisian sued the university today, alleging he was "kicked to the curb'' and fired instead of being offered treatment for an alcoholism problem.
The suit alleges Sarkisian "pleaded with his boss, Pat Haden, the athletic director, to give him time off to get the help he needed.''
Sarkisian maintains that USC ignored state laws requiring that he be accommodated for his disability.
