Backlog at Port of Long Beach slowly starting to ease
Gov. Gavin Newsom said Wednesday he sees signs of progress being made in relieving a backlog of cargo at the Los Angeles/Long Beach port complex, but said more needs to be done long-term to bolster funding to further improve the flow of goods through one of the world's busiest seaports.
