Two earthquakes above magnitude 3 shake up Southern California

PORT HUENEME, Calif. (FOX 11) - Two earthquakes, one 3.5 and 3.2 magnitude rattled parts of Southern California, but there have been no reports of damage or injury.

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 3.4 magnitude quake hit at 4:44 a.m. Wednesday, and was centered about 7 miles west-southwest of Port Hueneme in southern Ventura County.

Shortly afterwards, the USGS also reported a 3.2 magnitude earthquake at 4:58a.m. located 7 miles north-northwest of Adelanto in the El Mirage Valley.

Authorities in both Ventura County and the El Mirage Valley say there have been no calls of injuries or damage as a result of the quakes.
