DUARTE, Calif. - Authorities searched Friday morning for the driver of a big rig who slammed into a car and tree on a street in Duarte, then fled the scene.
The crash occurred about 12:20 a.m. in the 2500 block of Huntington Drive, near Crestfield Drive, and left behind a trail of destruction and the mangled wreckage of the trailer, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
