Halo Circus rocks Good Day LA
LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - Allison Iraheta shot into the national spotlight at a time when FOX's American Idol was a ratings and pop-culture juggernaut in season eight. While Kris Allen took the top spot that season, fans have been following Allison's career ever since.
The LP "Bunny" dropped last Friday and the music is a rare treat, sure to win over new fans while delivering that signature rocker sound longtime fans love.
Instead of singles strung together, this music is intended to be listened from start to finish--with transitions that convey meaning and emotion.
There's a mix of languages too as Allison sings in both English and Spanish. The families of Hispanic immigrants will enjoy music that is reflective of life in our multicultural communities, while non-Spanish speakers will have an adventure Googling translations to understand the meaning of this artist's words.
This latest project with Allison's band, Halo Circus, has been in the works for the last three years.
Allison says this album was recorded and then rerecorded and that the reason for the do-over was because of a real-life test of the material at her shows around SoCal. The band spent the last few years studying the audience's reaction and honing the sound into tighter and more creative music.

Listen to the music for the great production--listen to it over and over again to absorb the lyrics and the messages coming from this beautifully talented band.
Oh, and on a personal level--these musicians are just as appreciative to be making music as kids getting their first chance at the big time. Class act. All the way.
You can see Allison Iraheta and Halo Circus perform here in L.A. at the Mint on July 25.
