In Depth: Keeping your kids and pets safe this Halloween
Segment One:
LOS ANGELES - Joining Hal is Dr. Katherine Williamson, a pediatrician with Providence Mission Hospital in Orange County. She talks about precautions to take with kids during Halloween festivities. She also discusses the potential for Covid 19 shots for kids from 5 to 11 years old.
Segment Two:
Nick Rijniers, the founder and CEO of Bark & Birch, talks to Hal about how to keep your pets calm during the holiday season. Pets deal with a lot of stressors from Halloween through New Year’s and their owners can assist them by finding ways of allowing them space and giving them a little extra attention. He also talks about the items in a holiday home that can prove dangerous or deadly to our pets, including some human favorites like chocolate, raisins and peppermint.

Segment Three:
Jasen Smith, the CEO (Chief Experience Officer) of Experiential Supply Co., joins Hal to talk about "Haunt O’Ween," a Halloween experience going on in Woodland Hills. Smith talks about the changes that have occurred since last year’s "drive-through" experience. He describes the origin of the event and what it encompasses.
Segment Four:
Hal promotes his podcast and we end with video of some adorable pets in Halloween costumes.
