LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles firefighter Eric Stevens is in the fight of his life as he battles ALS.
29-year-old Stevens, who is former Rams player, was diagnosed about a month after his wedding.
Stevens isn’t alone in this fight – as he has an entire fire station full of friends supporting him. LAFD station 21, which serves South Los Angeles community, is hosting a fundraiser Saturday, November 23 to help raise funds and awareness.
The fundraiser is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach, it is open to the public.
Organizers say 100% of all the money raised will go directly towards Stevens’ treatment.
