Man killed, 2 women hurt in Signal Hill strip club shooting
SIGNAL HILL (FOX 11 / CNS) - A shooting in the parking lot of a Signal Hill strip club Tuesday left a man dead and two women wounded, authorities said.
The shooting occurred about 1:50 a.m. outside the Fantasy Castle in the 2800 block of Walnut Avenue, according to the sheriff's department and reports from the scene.
Authorities withheld the name of the man, who died at the scene, pending family notification. The women were hospitalized in stable condition.
"Detectives have learned that the male victim was standing in the parking lot of the gentlemen's club when he was approached by a male figure and shot several times,'' a sheriff's statement said. "Two females were also struck by gunfire.''
