Mega fever strikes SoCal: Mega Millions jackpot tops $454 million
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - California's lottery players are surely feeling the fever today, as the jackpot for tonight's drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions game has grown to $454 million.
The numbers in tonight's draw of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery are 29, 46, 53, 64, 73 and the Mega number is 10.
The estimated jackpot is $454 million.
The drawing was the 34th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 258,890,850, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 14.71.
Tonight's drawing takes place at 8 p.m., but ticket sales are cut off about 15 minutes prior to the drawing.
The Mega Millions game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
