Officials investigate deadly crash on 170 Freeway in Sun Valley

LOS ANGELES - One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the southbound 170 Freeway in Sun Valley Thursday morning, officials said. 

The crash occurred around 5 a.m. near Roscoe Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The name of the victim was not immediately released. 

Three lanes were blocked while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash.
